Dweezil Zappa's Dilemma

Dweezil Zappa discusses his ongoing legal dispute over the use of his family name. Improvisations  host Todd Steed and Dweezil also discuss details on guitars, teaching and his upcoming performance at the Bijou Theatre in Knoxville. 

Several members of the UT Electroacoustic Ensemble discuss the joys and challenges of performing modern electronic music.   They will perform a free (musically and economically speaking) concert this Friday at 6:00 PM at the Natalie L. Haslam Music Center. 

L&N STEM Academy student Ben Hall discusses the documentary on Vince Guaraldi that he made made with his friend Kent Smith. 

Todd Steed's interview with musician Robert Glasper conducted backstage at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago.  Glasper talks about his time in Tennessee, the limits of labels, Miles Davis, and his son Riley's masterful recitation on the new recording ArtScience.
