Pubs 4 Public Radio - Support

We’ve been having a lot of fun putting the PUB in public radio this summer, and we hope you’ll join us for the next event Thursday, Sept. 3, at Suttree’s High Gravity Tavern, 409 S. Gay St.

As always, beers, beverages and bowls (the noodle kind) benefit WUOTSuttree’sis generously donating 10% of the WHOLE day’s profits to the station. That means if you purchase something between 3 p.m. and 1 a.m., you’ll be supporting your favorite public radio station.

But that’s not all: Your ears will benefit, too. That’s because you’ll get to listen to some great live jazz. Our very own Randy Fishman, host of WUOT’s Last Set at Birdland (Fridays at 9 p.m.), plays a mean sax, and he and three other members of The Fish Skales will be playing tunes from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
