  In 1968, Charles Moulden was shot while fishing for trout in an East Tennessee stream.   There was little mystery regarding the reason for the attack-- Moulden was  black and his attackers wanted him to understand he wasn't welcome there.   Forty-six years later, he carries vivid memories of that day, as well as fragments of the bullet that brought him down.

The Knoxville-Knox County Homelessness Coalition was formed in 1986 to study homelessness in the area and to determine and coordinate services available to the homeless. Every two years, the Coalition presents a study on homelessness we'll hear the results of that study, along with the details of the City of Knoxville's latest plan to address homelessness.
