State lawmakers are debating some gun measures, but legislative rules mean some ideas are unlikely to be proposed.

The leading topic of discussion nationwide continues to be guns in the wake of the mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Fla. And state capitols around the country are feeling pressure to act and help put an end to the wave of massacres.

That’s also the case in Tennessee. Nashville Public Radio's Jason Moon Wilkins and statehouse reporter Chas Sisk discuss what's being debated and what will likely have to wait.
