Tennessee State Budget Hearings Begin This Week

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam will begin holding annual public budget hearings Tuesday, November 12.

Leaders of the state’s agencies will meet with Governor Haslam, Finance and Administration Commissioner Larry Martin, and state Budget Director David Thurman at the Capitol for those discussions.

The Department of Education will open the hearings, which are scheduled to wrap up Monday, November 25, with the Department of Transportation.
