Tennessee education officials are asking for public input on the state’s new K -12 social studies textbooks.
The new textbooks are proposed for the state’s public grade schools during the 2014-15 school year. Public comments must be in by September 11th in order for the publisher to consider them.
The books are on display at textbook collection sites across the state, which house all approved textbooks for all subjects.
