Higher education is a busy place. Just ask University of Tennessee system president Joe DiPietro or Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor John Morgan. Together, the two oversee the state’s colleges and universities.
This week, DiPietro and Morgan spoke with WUOT All Things Considered host Brandon Hollingsworth about the challenges their two systems face, including the balance between academic freedom and political concerns, preventing sexual assault on campus and the effect Tennessee Promise will have on the state’s community colleges. The conversation began with a discussion on the financial future of Tennessee higher education.
