In 1913, Knoxville held the National Conservation Exposition at Chilhowee Park for two months. It drew about a million people and it was probably the biggest event in Knoxville’s history, up until the 1982 World’s Fair.
Tomorrow, the Centennial Conservation Exposition will be celebrated at Chilhowee Park.
