Dialogue- The Economic impact of Domestic Violence

The National Center for Disease Control currently estimates the occurrence of domestic violence at 1 in 3 families. A 2002 study found that almost 30 percent of women and 22 percent of men had experienced intimate partner violence in their lifetimes. The social costs of domestic violence are obvious. The economic impact can be a bit more subtle.
