Disappearing Honeybees

American Honeybees pollinate $15 billion worth of crops each year. That's more than one-third of the food we eat. But honeybees are under attack, by parasites, disease and bad weather. There's been a 40% decline in the past two decades, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Beekeepers here in East Tennessee are working just as hard as their charges to keep them healthy.
