Setting the record straight

Yesterday, a former maintenance man at the East Tennessee Technology Park in Oak Ridge was indicted for stealing "barrier rods" used in processing enriched uranium. Roy Lynn Oakley is also charged with attempting to sell the material to the French government. For several hours, the story heard across the nation contained inaccurate information... about Oakley, where he worked and what he allegedly stole. Department of Energy Public Information Officer John Shewairy tells WUOT's Ann Lloyd all the government facilities in Oak Ridge were busy trying to set the record straight...
