The Ground Truth

The documentary film "The Ground Truth" graphically depicts the emotional and physical impact that the War in Iraq has had on the soldiers fighting it. The movie will open tonight in cities across the country, including Knoxville. Knoxville's Church of the Savior will host a screening of the film, followed by a discussion with one of the soldiers who appears in it. Kelly Daugherty was a medic and military police officer with the Colorado National Guard when she served in Iraq during 2003. She says she was unprepared to return to civilian life after her tour in Iraq...
