The Desert Camps

A group of former refugees and prisoners from Northern Africa spent this week in East Tennessee. They're here to bring attention to the plight of the roughly 80,000 people currently living in Algerian refugee camps. Some of the refugees have been trapped in the camps for decades. And a political stalemate between some of the region's powers give them little hope of leaving soon. WUOT's Matt Shafer Powell reports...Listen Now
