Public Notice

This fall, Tennessee residents could vote on a constitutional amendment that would define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. That amendment faces an important challenge before the Tennessee Supreme Court. The Tennessee A-C-L-U will argue that the General Assembly didn't follow the rules laid out in the state constitution when it published public notices about the amendment.
