Blacks and Cancer

In recent years, the medical community has become aware of and more sensitive to the fact that African Americans are more likely to die from cancer than those belonging to other races. University of Tennessee professor Wornie Reed recently returned from an American Public Health Association conference in Philadelphia, where he spoke about a new program that uses television and video to address the problem.
