Months after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast, thousands of stray cats and dogs are still roaming the streets of New Orleans. Most were family pets at one time. Animal rescue organizations like Best Friends Animal Society are rounding up as many as possible and holding them at a huge emergency shelter in Tylertown, Mississippi.
