Today Oak Ridge Public Schools Superintendent Tom Bailey told the Oak Ridger newspaper that a recent issue of the Oak Ridge High School student newspaper will be re-printed. One controversial article will be pulled completely. Another article will be changed. Last week, school officials confiscated all 18-hundred copies of the "Oak Leaf" student newspaper because it contained detailed information about birth control and photos of underage students with tattoos. The issue received international press attention. And last night, several students showed up at a school board meeting to protest. Despite today's decision, the issue appears far from resolved.
