Job Opening - Membership and Outreach Coordinator

WUOT Public Radio in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to lead WUOT's comprehensive fundraising and outreach activities.  This position is your opportunity to serve in a leadership role, preparing strategic and tactical plans to achieve WUOT's fundraising goals.  

Position Responsibilities:

The Membership & Outreach Coordinator is the station's principal fundraiser and friendraiser, designing and implementing all station fundraising campaigns, via two six-day on-air fund drives/year, direct mail, website, special events, social media, etc.  In addition to managing and maintaining WUOT's Allegiance database, this position oversees a loyal corps of station volunteers and supervises a part-time Membership Assistant.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing public relations, etc.  Minimum of three years of professional fundraising experience, public broadcasting fundraising preferred; ability to show a successful track record in fundraising and significant experience in database management, Allegiance software preferred. Must possess excellent communications and organizational skills; be computer savy and willing to learn and use software programs to their fullest potential; the ability to gather, analyze and prepare reports; be comfortable in front of the microphone as well as behind the scenes; understand and embrace the unique mission and culture of public broadcasting. 

Compensation:
