Afternoon Concert host Allan Ellstrom broadcasts his show from WUOT's main studio.

Many of you have LISTENED to WUOT for years! But how many of you have actually SEEN your public radio station?! Well, we want you to come take a look!

Please mark your calendars NOW for the WUOT OPEN HOUSE, set for Friday, Aug. 8, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. We promise there will be no speeches, no program, no passing the “collection plate”!! Just an informal “drop in” that gives you the chance to SEE your favorite station!

You’ll see why I’ve nick-named our control room “Starship WUOT”! Find out which studio has a removable production board, EIGHT microphones and a “hidden” pledge tote-board! Stroll through the music library which houses thousands of LPs and CDs. “Chill out” in the equipment room and guess how many miles of cable are under your feet! Munch on a cookie, sip a cup of punch and maybe even lead a “sing-along” in the WUOT Performance Studio!

The WUOT OPEN HOUSE promises to be full of fun and surprises. We hope you’ll be able to come!
