It soon became known that Pilot Flying J was being investigated for a long-running rebate fraud scheme that may have cheated many of the company’s commercial clients out of millions of dollars.</span></p><p>To date, ten Pilot employees have pleaded guilty in connection with the rebate fraud, and the company is still working to burnish its public image.
