Event Description

Jerolyn Morrison, University of Leicester, “Cooking up New Perspectives for Late Minoan IB Domestic Activities: An Experimental Approach to Understanding the Possibilities and Probabilities of Ancient Cooking Pot Use.” This lecture is organized by the East Tennessee Society of the Archaeological Institute of America and the McClung Museum of Natural History & Culture. Illustrated lecture, free and open to the public, followed by a reception. This lecture may be accompanied by a Minoan cooking demonstration.
