WUOT Public Radio was created as a public educational resource by the University of Tennessee more than 60 years ago. The station has been a proud member of the East Tennessee region since its inception.
WUOT is a community resource. We record and air local concerts, report on local news, produce features that focus on the issues of the region, sponsor arts and cultural events, offer a free online calendar of public events and get involved in causes we care about.
Individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations of this region have been helping to support this station since our first fund drive in 1983. We do what we do for you and thanks to you. Thank you for being there for us so that we can be there for you.
