Classical
WUOT offers many hours of classical music to listeners, including the Morning Concert and Afternoon Concert on weekdays, Early Morning Concert on weekend mornings, Classical 24 (overnight music), recorded broadcasts of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, recorded performances from the UT School of Music on UT Concert Hall, and syndicated symphony orchestra broadcasts Monday through Wednesday at 8 p.m. and Thursday night at 9.
Opera broadcasts (listings below) are heard on Saturday afternoons at 1. The Metropolitan Opera broadcasts December-May, then, from mid-May thru mid-July, it's opera performances from across the globe courtesy of the WFMT Opera Series. The 2020 WFMT Opera Series schedule is below (and subject to change).
