WUOT offers many hours of classical music to listeners, including the Morning Concert and Afternoon Concert on weekdays, Early Morning Concert on weekend mornings, Classical 24 (overnight music), locally-recorded UT performances on Monday evenings, recorded broadcasts of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and syndicated symphony orchestra broadcasts Tuesday through Thursday at 8 p.m.
Opera broadcasts are heard on Saturday afternoons at 1. The Metropolitan Opera broadcasts December-May, then it's Lyric Opera of Chicago from mid-May thru mid-July. LA Opera on Air follows with broadcasts beginning in July and running thru most of August; San Francisco Opera bring us up to the new season of the Met.
