WUOT, UT’s National Public Radio station, seeks an Accounting Specialist II to perform accounting, book-keeping and administrative tasks in a variety of databases and University systems. Duties include financial and HR functions in IRIS (time entry, payroll, personnel changes, travel, etc.), contracts, departmental purchasing, maintains departmental financial files, provides membership department support, particularly during twice a year on-air fund-drives, other administrative support. Knowledge of databases, word processing, general office/business protocols. Skilled at multi-tasking while maintaining accuracy and ability to learn and embrace new software, procedures & policies. High school diploma with four years office experience or bachelor’s with two years’ office experience. Experience working in higher ed, media or non-profit preferred; interest in public broadcasting a plus.
